Mark Making

​Objective: The student will research, collaborate, repeat  and develop a unique drawing skill set based on mark-making. 
Assessment: The student will partake in informal assessment, with one-on-one conversations with the teacher. At the conclusion of the project they will also partake in a formal and reflective critique in Schoology.

Differentiation and Remediation can be obtained through teacher facilitated manipulation of media and/or time.

The student will research different mark making techniques and create a composition that will then be enlarged over two surfaces.

The student will research and practice the calligraphic alphabet and its history. The student will utilize the skills learned in the creation of the alphabet to design a response to a common calligraphy challenge.
