Process vs. Product

​​Objective:
Assessment: The student will partake in informal assessment, with one-on-one conversations with the teacher. At the conclusion of the project they will also partake in a formal and reflective critique in Schoology. 

Weight vs. Void:
Time based Media, Temporary Sculpture and Photography

Objective: The student will show understanding and adoption of time based media by researching, design and creating a biomorphic installation.

Video/Audio Processing Reflective Culture

Objective: The Student will show adaptation and comprehension of time based media by researching, designing and creating a video/audio work of art that is reflective of subculture/counterculture. 

The student will research the following concepts:
  • culture
  • subculture
  • counterculture
  • sampling
  • weird
Requirements:
The work of art must be at least 90 seconds in length
the film can be silent or the work of art can be audio. 
The student may use any editing program necessary to complete their project. 

Action Art and Performance based Media

Objective: The student will show mastery and infusion of time-based media by creating an interactive performance based art.
