​Technical Proficiency 

​​Objective:
Assessment: The student will partake in informal assessment, with one-on-one conversations with the teacher. At the conclusion of the project they will also partake in a formal and reflective critique in Schoology.

30 works in 30 media 

 Description:
The student will create a series of 30 artworks in 30 different media and/or combinations of media and varying compositions. The image/images the student creates will be their decision, however the compositions must be based on a "classical" work of art.

10 Hyper-realism Studies

Description
The student will exercise media mastery through 10 successful attempts at hyper-realism. These pieces can be small. The materials that the student uses may be watercolor, acrylic, prismacolor pencil and water soluble oil paint. 


Evidence of Media Mastery

Description
The student will choose the media that is their strength and create a 18x24 image that is representative of their strength in media and design.
